Aguilar AG500 problem

    I just got an AG500, and i gotta say i love the sound i'm getting from it. However, when using the footswitch to go from channel 1 to channel 2, the sound cuts out for a second and then channel 2 engages. Going from channel 2 to 1 is clean, but this really bothers me. anyone else having this problem or any insight into whats going on with it? thanks

    There is a very slight pause in the sound from clean to distorted but not the other way around. The gap was very short on the one I had. It didn't really make a difference out on a gig though.
