Ok....So I just ordered the Aguilar AG700, and I have searched but have not seemed to find any info on being able to rack mount this amp. I do notice there are screw holes on the bottom side of the unit. So I am wondering if I ordered the appropriate sized rack ears if the top/side plate could be taken off so as to drill screw holes in the sides to rack mount this amp... side.

You can use what they call a universal mounting tray which is basically a thingy with a bunch of holes. You then use machine screws to fix your gear to the tray, then mount the tray to the rack.

  3. It's not really designed to be rack mounted but the universal trays are probably your best bet. I would use a tray and attach amp using the holes where the feet are.
Careful what you do. Some manufacturers' warranties may be void if you open up the unit.
    Not sure with Aguilar.
