New from Aguilar: the SL 115 bass cabinet. The SL 115 is the latest expansion of Aguilar’s SL line of cabinets; the first super lightweight bass cabinets with no compromise in tone.

The SL 115 offers incredible sonic flexibility whether used as a stand-alone cabinet or paired with another cabinet such as the SL 410x. Weighing only 34 lbs. (15.42 kg), the SL 115 is available in 4 or 8 ohm versions and can handle 400 watts RMS. With a frequency response of 35 Hz – 4 kHz, the SL 115 provides the deep lows, articulate midrange and smooth treble for which Aguilar is known. The SL 115 also features a custom-voiced woofer with Neodymium magnet and includes one Neutrik Speakon and two 1/4” inputs.

The SL 115 carries a US street price of $999 and is now shipping.

$1,000 for 1..15!!!!! Theyre out of their minds. These companies are really starting to get ridiculous IMO.

It is too much.... I don't want to hear one for that reason. Heavy price for a lite cab. Go figure.

"Neodymium magnet and includes one Neutrik Speakon and two 1/4” inputs."

With this type of speaker being as common as it is, you'd think prices would drop. People are willing to pay those kind prices, for that name, and it is their money. My cheap self wouldn't view a you tube review knowing the price ahead of time. Add a upper end Aguilar head and this rig gets pricey fast.

I hate to be that guy, but $1,000 for a 1x15 is . . . too much. It just is. I'm sure it sounds great. But does it sound more than three times better than a Rumble 1x15 . . . that also weighs under 40 lbs? I doubt it.

Regardless, I'm sure they'll sell a buttload and I'm jealous of any owners.

Yeah, it's hard to justify that price for a single 15 and I'm an Aggie fan.

Wait, what? no tweeter included AND $999?

1K for a single 15, no x-over or tweeter. Even if it was a 20 lb. miracle, it’s not worth 1K. Aguilar seems to think if they build it, we will come. I love Aggie stuff, but they’re off the chart on this one.

I agree with other people posting here.
    $1K for a 115 is very expensive.
Even the Bergantino NV115 is less expensive by a hair at $959 suggested retail.

  12. I like their suggested pairing with their 4x10. Don't they read this forum?
