NEW YORK, NY — Aguilar Amplification and DR Strings are pleased to announce a clinic with bassist Oscar Stagnaro. World renown for his mastery over both the Latin and Jazz idioms, Stagnaro’s resume includes work with Rosa Passos, Diane Schuur, Caribbean Jazz Project and a long-time tenure with Paquito D’Rivera. A Professor at the prestigious Berklee College of Music since 1987, Stagnaro is largely responsible for the development of the school’s Latin education programs including being the Academic Director for the Berklee Latino program. As a co-author of the famous Latin Bass Book, Stagnaro’s teachings have been absorbed by countless bassists from a wide-variety of stylistic backgrounds all over the world. The four-time Grammy Award-winning bassist and bandleader will bring his quartet to the event which includes his son Paolo Stagnaro (percussion), Matt Stevens (guitar) and Eric Doob (drums). The event will be held at the Aguilar Artist Loft in NYC on Monday, December 7th, 2015 at 7pm. This clinic is free to attend but seating is limited!
