The Aguilar DB285JC is one sweet cab. I bought it from reverb in late 2018, fully knowing one of the drivers was messed up. I spoke with Joseph Wagner from Aguilar Amplification and he said, "Your cost on those drivers would be $80 for the 6.5” and $120 for the 8” driver." Even with the blown driver, I still love the cab and had every intention of buying replacements from Aguilar. That being said, I'm not in a financial position to take on that project... So, for LOCAL sale (Baltimore, MD area) I'm selling the cab for $150. Please look at photos to see condition of cab. The photos I've attached are screen shots from Reverb add and can be found here: Aguilar DB285JC 2003 Black | David Gage String Instruments The cabinet is in the same condition I received in 2018. If you're interested in covering packaging and shipping, we can make that happen! Some old press: As a member of both Jefferson Airplane and Hot Tuna, Jack Casady has influenced bassists for five decades. And now he's got his own bass cabinet from Aguilar Amplification. Casady helped design the DB 285 JC (nicknamed the "Little Jack") as he was intent on producing a portable cabinet that would reproduce the dynamics and articulation in his playing - the deep bass, accurate midrange, and smooth treble. Specs include: Speaker compliment: Two 8-inch cast frame woofers, one 6.5-inch midrange driver Power handling: 300 watts RMS Impedance: four ohms Frequency response: 40 Hz - 5 kHz Sensitivity: 95 dB 1W 1M Dimensions: 24 x 11.5 x 14.5 inches Weight: 50 lbs.
