Aguilar db659 XLR and cab quesion

Discussion in 'Amps and Cabs [BG]' started by bkchang79, Mar 28, 2003.

  1. Since the aguilar db659 has one XLR connection, is there a spliter to split the signals so I can run two cabs? I'm thinking about getting an ACME low-b2 and a epifani T212, and run them together. Would this be a good or bad idea? Should I use one seperatly and bridge mono? I like the ACME cabs, but feel that the epifani cuts better (also I found these 2 cabs locally for a good price)

My understanding is the XLR out is the a mic out for sending to a board(needs phantom power for the gain). I just use the unbalanced outs to my XOver, then into my power amp (running an Aggie 1x12 and an Eden 1x15T). Have absolutely no complaints(other than too much stuff to move around!).
