I just got a great deal on a brand new DB924 outboard an love the sound it gives me with my MTD 535. I had a Roscoe w/Bartolinis and a 2 band Auguilar pre onboard and I loved the sound. What I'm wondering is this, should I just run my bass through the Aguilar pre and play that way or sell the outboard and install an inboard in my MTD. It should drop in with little effort. I won't lose money on the outboard because of the bargain I got on it. Help me decide!

while you *could* install it on the MTD, if I were in your shoes I wouldn't.

If you already have the outboard, and like the sound using it that way, I'd just keep it. You can get the benefit of using it with other basses, and not affect the value of your MTD should you ever decide to sell
