I was looking at bass pre amps and stumbled over this little guy. I tried to find as much info as I could about it, did some searches but couldn't find anything that would help me understand.

My question is, say i have a power amp (qsc rmx 1450 for ex) could i plug the DB924 into the QSC and use it as my MAIN pre amp?

And all's I would have to do is get another cable and hook my bass up to the input of the DB924.

    Thanks for your help!!

  2. This is a great sounding active preamp for your bass but it is not intended to drive a power amp on its own. On my EMG loaded P Bass it had unity gain unless I cranked the bass and treble controls. Then I sounded like Fieldy! (clicky click click).

Think of it like active tone controls on your bass except they are on the floor.
