    I had a rehearsal in NYC tonight, played through an aguilar db680 pre, some power amp I don't remember, and 2 epifani 4x10's. My SR5 through that was unreal. When I am debt free, I will be looking into that. I have rehearsed at that complex before but never in that room, and the other cabs they have in other rooms with the same pre and power amp are not as good of a match- this was just beautiful. Just thought I'd share.

    Can the power amp be a Lab Gruppen? I think I know where you rehearsed! :)

    Yup, that's it. Lab Gruppen. Ultrasound, studio 3. The studio we had last time had that same pre/power combo on some other cabs and they were weak. I might move in that room (is it cheaper than buying the amp?! It's cheaper than my mortgage!)

    that's funny I play there all the time....The two Epifani 410s they carry are the NYC series which are heavy and were discontinued by Epifani years ago and the DB680 was discontinued by Aguilar a few months ago....just keep playing at Ultrasound and it'll be like YOUR rig!
