It looks as if Aguilar gave their DB750 amps a facelift?

I can't fit the pic file is too large. I can e-mail them to you and maybe you can resize it and post it for me!

    I didn't, I just linked to the picture on BassPalace.com :)

Like this (except without the spaces): [im g]http://www.basspalace.com/images/inventory/DCP0927.JPG[/im g]

I agree with Poon though, I prefer the look of the old models. I hope they aren't planning on making the whold DB series look like that.

I like the old school look better, however, I wouldn't mind one of each!

  15. That picture has been on the basspalace website for a while, I remember seeing it there last Spring. I'm not so sure if it is a new look, it may be an old look. It is the only one like that I have seen. It may have been a prototype of some kind.

These are just my observations, by no means am I an authority about these.

    Hi folks,

    Frankie is correct.

    The whole story is:

This is a picture of the first prototype of the DB 750 which we had taken to a NAMM show years ago. We had three or four different graphic looks for the amp and picked one for the show. When we got back after the show, we decided on the current look.

This particular dealer insists on keeping this picture, which was taken at that NAMM show, on his web-site. We have never produced this look, and he doesn't have this amp at his shop. Frankly, I find it pretty annoying that he keeps this picture up on his web-site.

  17. Thanks for the clarification, Dave.

We get to keep the old school look. :hyper: :D

Well thank you for clearing that up. The new "OLD SCHOOL" look is the best looking & sounding amp out there! I'm addicted. I knew it would be only a matter of time before Eric Wilson would jump on em! Now I feel like a tool. Sorry Guys!

We called that prototype the moustache amp!

  20. Haha, I can see why.

Not to derail the thread, but.... Is the DB728 really being discontinued? Alot of TB'ers are wondering this I think!

    Thanks...
