    Hi-

Bought a GS210 with a bad Tweeter. Opened it in order to check what's up but puleed its Cabels from the terminal on the back wall. Now i want to simply reconnect it but not sure where the wires go as there are 4 possibilities.

Can anyone tell me where the + and - go according to the pic? photo-1.JPG

It looks quite different, or maybe im just not getting it...

Looking at my Pic, can you tell me, out of the 4 unused "tongues" where + and - goes?

    Thanks again!

Still need help w this. Aguilar suppprt is mot available somehow. Can anyone chime in?

  5. Can you get a better lit pic of your crossover board? Could probably figure it out. Did the wires detach from the tweeter horn or the crossover (plate mounted to the back)?

Getting you a pic in a few minutes. The cable detached from those "tongues" in the back. Its a no brainer reconnection, i just dont want to connect it wrong...;(

  8. I can't make out an open lug for the (-) negative to the tweeter, but the red positive was easier:

The black arrow is pointing to a terminal that is already taken i believe. What else can it be?

  10. Follow that black wire to the input jacks (from that board) and see if there is an open lug there at the same place the black wire attaches.

So basically it should short with the red and black on the left?

  12. NO. The center wire from the control on the top with three wires needs to go to the + or red dot on the tweeter, there should be an open lug on the board where that attaches to. From there you need a - (negative) to go to the tweeter (usually black, or dark color wires). If the black is a short wire from the tweeter it could have been attached to the black or negative on one of the woofers. That is not a short if I am misunderstanding your choice of terms, it is completing a circuit.

OK got it, The Postive was the one you put the red arrow to and the negative is the one right under the brown one in the pic. Thanks!

  14. Yes, the right brown wire was covering the red (positive connection) in the pic. The negative should be at the left brown wire and the blacks.
