Aguilar GS212 Presence Problem

    I have to agree with these guys. I did a fill in gig yesterday with some guys that all they knew were balls to the wall. My Avatar cabs were very present until the gui****s got louder and louder. Talk to the gui****s...sometime volume is a bad thing..

    I know you may not want to hear this but, I think it's the nature of your bass. I had a Stingray for 22 years and always had presence problems on the upper strings. I got used to plucking the D and G strings closer to the neck to compensate for the lack of fatness. In retrospect, I don't know why I waited so long to go to other instruments.
    I had Aguilar GS112 cabs and never had a presence issue with Fender Basses.
