Currently have an Aguilar SL112 1x12 Cab and the Tone hammer 500. It's been great for rehearsals and small gigs but I need more..

    Option #1
    Buy a 2nd 1x12 cab keep TH 500.

    Option #2
    Buy a SL 2x12 and TH 700.

    Option #3
Buy SL 4x10 and TH 700.

    Option #4
Sell it all for cocaine and get a factory job.

Maybe buy something all together different?

Small gigs to medium bar gigs to some outdoor gigs.

    What say you?

Simple answer is to get the 2nd 112. That's more flexible and cheaper than the other two.
The 700 is nice, but 700 watts is only marginally more than 500.

Once you have two 8 ohm cabinets, the current TH will deliver all 500 watts.

That 2nd 1x12" cab will have a synergistic effect. And, you still have light equipment. I have Aguilar cabs, GS112s. When I bought the 2nd one, I was shocked at how much "bigger" the sound was. It's a huge difference!

Two of the same is always better than any other possible option.

Not Aguilar cabs, but you get the idea.

Same here. I used to own two GS112s and one sounded great, but two was definitely more than the sum of the two parts.

I agree, 2 is better looking, more flexible for various gigs, sounds like like more than 2x
