Aguilar OBP-1. Bought this for my 76' Jazz bass but it didn't fit. It was close but I didn't want to do any modifying on my vintage bass. The newer Jazz basses have enough room for this. Battery not included.
    $100.00 shipped

    From the original thread.

Built this for my Fender American Pro Jazz bass to fit without modifying the body. It is configured Vol, Vol, stack Treble /Bass, input, for a standard 4 hole control plate. The volume pots are 250k CTS for passive pickups, treble/bass stack pot was supplied by Aguilar and the output jack is a stereo Switch Craft. The stack knob is included, preamp is ready to transfer to your control plate and uses your existing Jazz Volume knobs. The Pots are trimmed for maximum room for the 9v to sit under them in a unmodified control cavity. I can't confirm this will fit every Jazz bass body without modification but it did fit my American Pro with ease. Comes on the template shown for shipping, 9v battery not included, shown for configuration purposes.

Is it set up to do active/passive via pulling up on a volume pot? Also, just curious why you didn't leave it in your American Pro Jazz.

It is Active only. I bought it to put in my 76’ Jazz bass but it didn’t quite fit. The previous owner had it in his American Pro.

It measures right at 1.125 but you should have a little more room than that 1.25 depth would be ideal but you could probably squeeze it in at 1.125
