I know some old thread (http://www.talkbass.com/forum/f36/aguilar-tlc-comp-distorting-ideas-750500/) covers that subject, but it never completely solved the problem either. So:

    - Can I run my TLC at 18 V?
    - Will it prevent it from distorting?
    - Will it increase the headroom?
    - Will i live a happier life? :)

I want to make things clear: i will not use any -15 dB pad, or a volume pedal, or decrease the volume on my L-2500 (what I'm doing right now). I want to give that pedal another chance. The point is I just want to keep my signal as loud as i can until i reach my amp. Thank you for hearing my complaints!

I recall Dave B telling us that running it at 18v will not give it any more headroom (which is all about whether it distorts), unfortunately.

    Now i'm sad... :bawl:

Bongo, guess i'll take a look at your compressor page (http://www.ovnilab.com)!

    Who wants an Aggie TLC?
