Very nice, the lack of fingerboard dot/inlays makes it look clean, with the clear finish.

It's like a cross between a Wal and a Fender J, must try one someday. Why three switches, parallel/series active/passive?

1 switch toggles between series and paralell, another switch toggles between the pickups (bridge, neck, or both) and the other is a treble boost I believe and I think you can pull up on the volume knob to go passive. I know you can pasive, just not sure how :)

The 3rd switch (closest to the bridge) switches between 3 preamp modes: Active w/ treble boost [up], Active [middle], and passive [down].

The middle switch goes from series wiring to parallel.

The first switch is the pickup selector: neck/both/bridge.
