This thing is way cool. Fralins, John East Controls, recessed Dunlop Strap locks, Badass II bridge, Locking Sperzels, Switchcraft locking jack. The Yellow Submarine Body with "The Dreadful Flying Glove" headstock. Awesome!

Body is Poplar. This thing plays and sounds awesome! Low action, extremely fast neck. Supercool!

Not much history as of yet because it was just completed. I had it built by a Master craftsman in California who
can carve anything out of anything! His name is Doug Rowell. A heck of a nice guy.

Doug does some incredible work. He'll put this bass on his website as well, he's waiting to finish another guitar so he can post them both at the same time for Symmetry's sake. When I called him to commission this, he tried hard to talk me out of it. Apparently they are a real chore to build. He asked me to pick any other design, as he really did not want to make another YS.
:) I'm sure glad he did. This thing is way cool!
