My pedal will be delivered today and I was wondering if anyone had some cool settings/patches they would like to share. I found some posted over at the Dude Pit that I will post here as well. (Thanks to Dave Fitch & prismacolor 2) Here Ya Go, Kids, Enjoy! Can't vouch for the sound but I'll be sure to try these tonight. If anyone else has some settings, please feel free to post them. Thanks!

    A:

    OCTAVER

start with preset #6 (fat bottom) modified with the following:

    note off: 5
    note on: 5
    attack: 5
    decay: 5
    envelope depth: 5
    dynamics: 5
    *cutoff: 3
    *resonance: 1
    *balance: 1
    level: 5

    *the important ones
The parameters set at 5 may have to be adjusted for your bass/style.

    (Dave Fitch)

    B:

    MUTRON (ish)

My favorite setting (most MuTronish) is

Jazz Bass: Neck PU dimed, Bridge PU at about 7 Tone rolled off the bridge (i have concentric stack knobs)

    program #9 (hiccups)

    note off: 6
    note on: 4
    attack: 9
    decay: 8
    envelope depth: 1
    dynamics: 7
    cutoff: 4
    resonance: 8
    balance: 1
    level: 7

    (Prismacolor2)

    C:

Very cool hard-edged distortion synth sound.

    Start with preset #2 ("Hardcore")

    Note on: 5
    Note off: 5
    Attack: 5
    *Decay: 9
    *Envelope Depth: 9
    *Dynamics: 1
    *Cutoff: 7
    *Resonance: 8
    *Balance: 7
    Level: 5

*Important ones- the rest can be adjusted to suit your instrument

Gigged with mine for the first time this week (4 nighter)....nice for spicing things up a bit, especially since we didn't carry a keyboardist...I got a LOT of mileage out my Unibass that I got at the same time as the SB-1. Both pedals are great sounding tools, and I was just using the factory presets on the SB-1.

I took advantage of the Musician's Friend discount as well, and while I have only played with mine a little bit, I can definitely see the advantage of sharing settings for various patches. Thanks for the ones posted above. If I come up with anything cool, I will post them.

On a specific request level, does anyone have any recommended settings for HellaGood by No Doubt or Turbo Lover by Priest (we're doing this tune without keyboards, and it'd be cool to add a touch of synthy feel to the bass line). How about Orgy's version of Blue Monday?

    Thanks, Tom.

  6. Thanks for posting the SB-1 patches! I just scored one on eBay for $98. I should have it in a few days. I'm psyched! If I discover any more good patches, I'll post 'em, too. Thanks!

I was wanting a Deep Impact a year ago, and MF blew'em out for $99?!?!?!?:( How did I miss that.

zZounds is still at a buck-forty or so....

If anyone bought two, you can send one to me:D

    any updates?

  14. Man, I hate you lot. I paid £200ish (erm.... $300) for mine, about a year ago, and even that was importing it from Europe!

I'll need to dig it out to say settings - it's sitting in a bag with the rest of my regular pedals, I use it mostly for playing Muse covers.

Say, does anyone know what are the best settings to use for Muse's Hysteria?
