    FOR SALE:

    AKG C411 Contact microphone.

This mic works great for any instrument. I just got it back from our mandolin player who was using it on his Gibson before getting a pickup installed.

I've used it on my bass as well as many other instruments with great success.

    price includes shipping CONUS

  5. Does this have an internal power supply or does it need an external phantom power source?

Just to clarify, AKG says the C411 works with anywhere from 9 to 52V, so it should work with many smaller preamps that don't provide a full 48V. I've used mine in the past with a preamp that had 15V phantom power and it worked fine.

On my bass I've found it to work well with the bow. I don't need to adjust the volume or EQ, unlike some other pickups I've used.
