AKG Wireless - Any Good?

I'm contemplating getting a wireless system for my bass. I like the look of the AKG-SR40-GB40.

You can see the one I mean here.
Has anyone had any problems with it, in terms of battery life, interference, etc.?

What are the main differences between the 'guitarbug' style transmitters and the pocket transmitters, besides the obvious. Are there any real disadvantages to having the former instead of the latter?

The price of the unit is GB£169.00 (about US$270.00) and I'm looking to spend about this much, although if better equipment is available cheaper then that's cool!

The use will be mainly for practice and small gigs. The main reason for getting the unit is to allow freedom of movement and stop me snapping the pickguard again by standing on the lead and moving. I would also like to be transfer the unit for use with my electric guitar, so ease of transfer would be useful too.

Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks.
