What's your favorite album cover art? Post 'em!

I'm having a hard time picking faves, but Zappa's Burnt Weenie Sandwich came to mind immediately:[IMG]

Yeah, some of them have a Dali-esque look to them.

I always thought one of the only great things by Iron Maiden was their album covers :D. What was that dude's name? Vic, Vinnie?

  8. Eddie.
Vic was Megadeths 'mascot' Vic Rattlehead :)

And Megadeth happens to be my second fav band :D

Roger Dean, He did the weird, fantasy album covers for bands like Yes, Uriah Heep, and (I believe) Asia.

Yes had some awesome artwork in the 70's. Also, Nazareth's "No Mean City".

    Toss up between "White Album"-Beatles
    "Smell The Glove"-Spinal Tap

BTW-Being a bass player, my favorite mic check
    before a gig is:
"David- Smell The Glove is here"- said very monotone ala Derek Smalls

Heck, Machaut, I used that as my avatar 3 weeks ago for a few days, I love that picture!

Here's a avatar size copy for anyone who wants it...

I think the cover and inside Art on the 2 first James Gang Album releases were outstanding...
James Gang and James Gang Rides Again.

I always liked the Indian themes in Abraxas by Santana as well as in Bitches Brew by Miles.

    And Zappa rules !

'We're only in it for the Money' should be posted right next to Sgt. Pepper. Of course.
