RIP. Big part of the sound of my early life, Bon Jovi was always on the radio and MTV back then.

Sad news. If it weren’t for Alec, Bon Jovi might not have even formed.

Big part of my early playing years. Bon Jovi was the first real concert that I have ever been to.

    Sad loss.

You didn't know many of the Bass parts on the studio recordings were recorded by their current Bass player Hugh McDonald?

  14. Kind of shocked to see that any member of Bon Jovi was 70, just looked it up, Jon himself is only 60, so Alec was ten years older than the band leader. All makes me feel old; I remember when they were a new young band.

According to Such, the record company lied about his age back then. Not really a surprise, I guess.

  18. Unfortunately for Alec, a studio musician was brought in to play most of the bass lines on the recordings. Pretty much all of the hit songs are played by Hugh Mcdonald
