    Alembic Orion 5
    Flame maple top
    Mahogany body
    Active electronics
    Solid brass hardware
    Brand new Sadowsky strings
    ebony fingerboard

You won’t believe how effortlessly the Orion responds to your touch, easily reproducing even the most subtle fingering techniques. The Orion can help you achieve tones you only dreamed were possible.

Set neck construction gives the Orion warm, well-defined midrange response. The cross-grained maple neck is supported by two dual truss rods that adjust at the body. Topped off with a durable ebony fingerboard, the neck has a comfortable shape and complete access to upper frets.

The construction, control, and sheer playability of the Orion combine to create an instrument that responds instantly to its player.

Justin, I'll definitely consider a trade, but not interested in any Warwicks. Sorry, that sounds like a real nice one!

Steve-o, the $700 Bossa isn't exactly a fair trade - isn't that the one you've been trying to sell?

  8. Yes, he has been trying to sell it. Uh, steve?

The Alembic website says 2.930 at the 24th fret, and I measured right around 25/32" at the bridge measuring from the middle of each string.

it's a very comfortable width - doesn't feel as wide as a fodera or mtd, but not as narrow as a zon or smith.

    hope that helps...
