For sale is my Alembic Stanley Clarke Signature Series. This one doesn't come with the LED's.

I am the original owner of the bass. I ordered this bass custom made from Alembic and it was completed in 2003. One of the sweetest bass that I've ever owned. If you ever got your hands on one of these, you WILL fall im love with the bass.

I still have the original Alembic deluxe case, all the paper work and birth certificate that came with the bass. I will also throw in a custom strap that I ordered when I got the bass (the strap in the pictures). The bass has barely been used and been sitting in the case for a long time. I'm selling it because I don't feel like I spend enough time on this bass so it needs to go to someone else who can make a good use of it.
Except for the belt buckle thrash on the back plate(which you can order a new one from Alembic), the bass is in pristine condition. No dents, cracks or anything of that nature.

    Here are the specs:

    Alembic Stanley Clarke Signature Deluxe

    *Cocobolo Top and Back
*THIN NECK Taper (like Stanley's): 1.5" *Nut, 2.15" Width at 24th Fret
*Maple and Purple Heart Wood on the neck
    *Ebony Fingerboard
    *Abalone Oval Inlays
    *Brass Back Plates
    *Short Scale
    *Small Body
    *Deluxe Case.
*Custom leather Strap with Straplocks included.

These are going for around $9,600 at Bass Central and other sites. Hit me up if you have any questions.
The ONLY trades that I would entertain would be a neckthrough Fodera. Might entertain a 4-STRING Ken Smith as well but that's it. Could be a partial trade on either side.

That's a great bass and I too find that alembic and mesa boogie are a great combination.
I notice the strings look really light, and wondered if you have the bass strung up as a tenor or piccolo bass.
What gauge of strings do you use for that?
All the best with the sale.

The back plate has a clear coat on it, that's what makes it look like that.
No need to order a new one, just remove the finish and you can buff it up like new :)

The finish can be easily removed with something like Scotch brite, for buffing I use either Brasso or Flitz.
If you don't like the annual buffing procedure you can re-apply a new clear coat, or have it (gold) plated and never worry about it again

Very nice one, good luck with the sale!

Did you have your jeweller friend plate yours FC Bass?
I would like my bass hardware coated but in chrome rather than gold.
