Alembic tube pre floor "pedal"

    Well, not exactly a pedal or even effect but I just finished my one channel Alembic tube pre in Hammond case.



    I added a MOSFET follower to match the output with poweramps and mixers (we play thru in-ear monitors at rehearsals).

    I also lowered the gain a bit to get more clean sound.

    Oh that's cool as hell! This has the traditional Showman tone stack ? That stack with The tone controls. Each on 6 is so juicy and crisp. Definately one of the sounds in my head when I think electric bass...

    Yes, Alembic is basically a cloned Fender.

    I've always thought the Superfilter would make a great pedal re-house. It already works on a 12v pwr supply.

    Why no vents?
    Why no bypass switch?

    The schematic as well as layout are easily found with Google. I don't remember where I took them.
