Ok, so it's not really a bass power amp, but I've got a question about my Alesis RA-100. It has two different kinds of output jacks (1/4" left and right as well as bare-wire left and right push-terminals). Now, the amp can handle down to 4 ohms per channel, and I'm currently only running at 8 ohms per channel so I was thinking of getting a second pair of 8 ohm speakers to get that extra power out of it. Does anyone know if the output jacks are simply wired in parallel, but with different connectors? If this is the case, then that would be nice - I'm assuming that's how they are done because I can't think of any logical reason to do it otherwise. Thanks in advance. Oh, and I've tried contacting Alesis twice but have never gotten a response from them.
