ive seen the video for alien ant farms cover of smoothe crimial, and i like the bass the guy usses. who makes it and where can i get one?
here is my answer again Here are the answers to your question. I've been watching couple of the AAF's music videos and I found this out. Tye Zamora uses a Ken Lawrence Brase 6 bass for "Smooth Criminal" and for the "Movies" Video, he uses the DPCustom 6 (Dave Parr Custom). Both basses have LanePoors and The DPCustom has a Carvin Preamp in it. Angus and I are trying to figure out what woods are in the DPCustom of his.. but definately we know some of the woods on it On the DPCustom, the body looks like its a Mahogany with a Zebrawood top. A Neckthru Maple neck with wenge stringers (7 or 9 piece). The fingerboard looks like Bubinga. But god thats a lovely bass. The Ken Lawrence Brase 6 looks like a nice bass also, i would definately want to try one. Hopefully that answered some questions DM
There is another thread on this going on right now. I am closing this one down. No need for two threads with the same topic. Any questions, feel free to PM me.
