This bass is all Mahogany (neck too). It has a brand new neck from Chopper. When I received it I found the truss rod was broken hence the replacement. This bass plays great. The preamp is super versatile and the onboard distortion is very serviceable. I've used it on a bunch of gigs and love the way it plays and sounds. It balances nicely and didn't wear me out on long gigs. It has a skinny (1 3/4" nut - 34" scale), fast neck which I love. I just can't get used to the ergonomics of the undersized body. It has a big thick sound but definitely not boomy. Weight is right at 10 lbs. I got a great deal on it and I want to pass it along. It comes with a cheapie gig bag. I still have the original neck I can include if you want it for some reason. Pics are the bass with the original neck. The new neck is identical except there is no serial # on the back. New neck was plekked also. Free shipping via FedEx to the lower 48 and actual charges elsewhere. Trades are any upscale fender style basses (Always on the lookout for Old P basses or CS basses). I'm on the lookout for a Mesa Boogie Scout extension cab 8ohm 12" or 15". I might look at a 2 x 112 cab setup like Aguilar, Baer etc.
These basses rule! I screwed up and sold my lunar 5 but then found a beautiful Connie 5. Buyer will be tickled!!!!!
Sure. I’ve never shipped to Canada. Are there extra shipping costs to get it there? I’ll cover up to $100 in shipping costs. You would be responsible for any extra shipping costs. Can you guess how much it would be? I usually use fedex.
It should be about $120 from Texas to the Toronto area. USPS is the most simple way to go as there is no funky paperwork and no brokerage fee's on the receivers end. I do this all the time.
