    This bass is incredible. I live close to Choppers shop and have tried many and many of his basses after they are built against this one. This is the best I’ve ever felt or heard come out of his shop. This one has several upgraded shop features. This bass has ZERO dead spots and the tone is very even from lowest to highest note. Very consistent. The price includes free shipping to the lower 48. The specs are:

    That is sweet! I really like the Sonic Blue. I have been on the hunt for one of Choppers 5-strings for a while. Regretfully, I am pretty much limited to trades or partial trades that don't require too much cash right now.

    To potential buyers: I believe all Alien Audio basses are wonderful instruments, but if Matt says this is the best he's ever felt or heard come out of Chopper's shop, it must be amazing! I don't think anyone but Chopper himself has more experience with these basses than MattB88 or CyberSnyder do. If you are lucky enough to wind up with this bass, you will be getting something special for sure!

    Lord, have mercy! I concur with the others - I think that's the nicest Alien I've laid eyes on. I'd say GLWTS but I don't think you'll need it.

    BTW I am REALLY enjoying the blue Lunar 5 formerly owned by you, and I have received a number of random compliments on Jamulus and JamKazam lately for its tone.

    Nice Bass. I need to get over to his place and check them out sometime. I have only played a short scale 5 that was at Corner Music a few years ago.

    We did a summer vacation in Nashville a few years ago. Visiting Chopper's shop was my favorite part. Also, despite the long, long line, not a fan of Hattie B's.
