Today i tried out the Peavey BAM combo (which in the couple minutes i tried it, seemed like an awesome combo) at a music store and the Phaser effect was pretty cool sounding, I have been thinking about getting a Boss PH-3 Phase Shifter because it got very good reviews in bass player... ok, my question is, have you tried this pedal on bass or own one, is it any good?

If you want really good phase try the Electro-Harmonix Small Stone phaser. I has an original 1976-1977 model for a while and it is really creamy and rich. It does have a little of the dredded tone suck, but the phase (with bass) was really good. I did sell mine though because it didn't really fit with the sound of my band (and it was missing the AC adapter port). but The are very creamy with bass. I know a lot of people like the MXR phase 90 as well with bass.

  3. i love my mxr phase 90... very cool sounds but i have actually found that i dont use it (or my flanger) as much as i would like.
