I have to admit...I'm stumped! I need your help in choosing which to get!!!!
    The options are:
1)Keep my R Bass w/maple board....I like it a lot, but for what I'm doing (jazz trio), the maple's a bit bright...
    2)Sell it for 2 Deluxe Skyline 44-02s (fretted&f-less)
3)Sell it for a USA Lakland Classic w/dual Js in Seafoam Green, ebony board w/dots and w/pearloid guard!!
I have a custom singlecut fretless from Nordstrand Guitars coming within 8 weeks, so I'll have a kickass fretless soon....the whore in me says go w/the Lakland or Laklands.....I could always have the R Bass switched to an ebony or rosewood board...AAIIGHH!!!
If you were me, which way would you turn???

Either keep the R or get the US Lak... you'll have to make the personnal decision.

  3. JB,

If it were me, I'd keep the R-bass and either EQ out the highs or use a more mellow string.

I definately wouldn't sell it for Skylines - especially considering you have the fretless on the way.

I might sell it to buy a Sadowsky, though! ;)

    Good luck!
