Has anyone here experienced the same thing? I have, for years, listened to the radio in my car, and tapped my fingers on the steering wheel. Now I can perform all kinds of rudiments that drummers use with my fingers. The cool thing that I found was that it was relatively easy to carry this over to bass.

Has anyone else found this to be the case? It's weird how just sitting around tapping your fingers can give you new techniques to use. I guess there's a use for everything. ;)

I tap the palm rest of my laptop all the time. I also study rhythm extensively in my free time.
