Aguilar isn't making a tube amp anymore. The DB751 is pretty big but it's hybrid.

Mesa M-190 all tube power amp - rackable
    Mesa Strategy 400 - yow
    Mesa Strategy 500 - yowza!
Mesa 2:90 all tube power amp - rackable
Mesa 2:100 all tube power amp - rackable

the 2:90 and 2:100 are pretty cool low/medium powered amps and can be used without a preamp (but with decidedly limited tone shaping options other than your bass tone controls).

Now that, is badass. Didn't Phil Jones do one using like 813 radio transmitter tubes or something. That's some quality consumer electronics, man....voltage measuring in the thousands with current to go with it. Those type of tubes are actually fairly common and quality. I don't see why we don't have more high power tube stuff.

I am really set on a 400+ but these old SVT ii's are looking good, is it the standard style Ampeg with the ultra high, ultra low, and then a graphic eq?

Ya, no master/gain, just one volume knob. They do sound great, but I'm having quite good luck getting the same basic sound out of an SVT-CL with the master cranked and using the gain to set volume, so I think the 2 Pro is worth looking at as well.

I bet that things comes with quite a steep bill for the chiropractor ;)

When it worked, I was very pleased with my all tube SVT-II.

However there seems to be an inherent design flaw which causes a crackle that no tech has been able to fix. I got one of those unfortunately...

Carvin has a tube 100 watt rackmount poweramp that you could pair with the preamp of your choosing.
