    I've wanted to try one of these since they came out, but nobody ever has one in stock. It sounded quite distinctive in Will Lee's hands on the deepest end--real thumpy.

    These sell new for around $100 more--is that a typical discount for a factory second?

    That bass just screams "mud, mud" to me. Looks cool though, like most Gibson basses.

    Actually, my Woody bass was too bright with the original .45 -.105 roundwounds and I put .45-.100 D'Addario Chromes on it to tone it down some. It's nothing like my Gibson EB-O ( affectionately known as "the tuba").
