Allman Brothers bassist to play at Centenary UMC

For one, it mixed up the music for its worship services, using a variety of styles from classical to guitars. But nothing has been as "cutting edge" as what's planned for Sunday, when the church brings in a band led by Allman Brothers bass player Oteil Burbridge. "This is not praise and worship. This is a good bit more edgy than that," said the Rev. Tim Bagwell, church pastor. For Burbridge, the church gig is an answered prayer.
