A Quality CT knockoff. Rainbow-ish. Very cool scroll work!

Very nice design! How'd you cut out your 'Toon' letters? they look great.
  5. I cut the letters out with a band saw very carefully. I'm thinking about putting a piece of maple behind them.
  6. TOON!!! hell, I like your basses look better than I do Carl's! Forget the knock-off thing, man, you look like you've got the touch just the same as Carl does! Excellent job!

Very cool. I love the maple next to the padauk (purpleheart, maybe?).

very nice indeed. Esp. different with the headstock! I think a piece of maple behind the TOON letters would set it off very nice (flamed maple, of course) :p

Wow that's great. You really buit that fast.
By, the way, and I'm sure you know this, but that body is huge!! That is, judging from teh bridge position.
  10. Actually the body is quite small and the whole bass it really light. the reason it looks huge is because It's a 32" scale with 29 frets. I think I'm at around the forth or fifth week. Now if I just get some help and start doing several at a time I'll be ready to start selling them.

    thanks for all the replies
