Look like a decent rig? I was also looking at a Sansamp RBI, anyone have any experiance with those?

I've never played with a preamp/power amp before, so any help would be welcome.

I never leave home, when gigging, without my RBI. its more than just a preamp its also a tone and EQ changer. I use it in my effects loop like a rack mount EQ or effect. its a "magic box" for bass tone as far as I'm concerned.

I can't comment on Avatar speakers but the amp rig is very cool. I own both the Ampeg SVP-Pro and a SansAmp Bass Driver DI (similar to the RBI). Both offer good tone-shaping ability, both can provide nice tubey overdrive if desired. I prefer the Ampeg primarily because of the variable midrange control (it also provides a greater level of distortion if that's your thing), but that's just a matter of taste: both are nice devices.
