I have elected to change out the stock MEC pickups in my Warwick Corvette. I just ordered a set, neck and bridge, of Seymour Duncan "Antiquity I". I really didn't like the low end of the stock MEC's. They have great low-mid sound, but that rock bottom just ain't there. I am hoping that these will beef up my tone and give it a true vintage sound. So, with that said, am I ****ing up???

Hey, if the sounds isn't doing it for you then experimenting with equipment that might satisfy you is a good thing.

Try raising the pickups up higher.

Sorry 'bout the forum thing  Anyways, I haven't installed them yet, but I have ordered a set of Antiquity I's. Do you think this will mess up that "Warwick growl" or just be a great addition???
