Alvarez ABT-60E jumbo baritone acoustic in great shape. Plays easy and has a huge sound. Tuned to B standard -- B to B, low and deep, but with same intervals as a regular guitar, so all familiar chord shapes still work. Solid spruce top and mahogany back and sides with some of the prettiest figuring I've come across. Pickup has been upgraded to a DeArmond Toneboss, with adjustable pole pieces for excellent string to string balance and a warmer, fatter tone, without needing a battery. It also has its own passive volume control built right into the side of the pickup. I removed the nasal-sounding under-saddle piezo strip to allow for more direct resonance transfer from the strings to the top of the guitar, which to my ears opened up the acoustic tone quite a bit. In order to wire the Dearmond directly to the 1/4" jack, some of the PCB board on the output section had to be trimmed away. The top preamp portion itself is still intact, but the Dearmond on its own sounds 10x better than the stock pickup/preamp combo, so I find it hard to understand why anybody would want to go back to it. Here is a quick demo video. Starts out acoustic and then I turn up the pickup to demonstrate the tone: Strung with a brand new set of Elixir baritone strings and comes with original Alvarez fitted gig-bag. Asking $300 + approximate shipping to your location. Continental US shipping only please due to the rosewood fretboard and the overall size. Paypal is preferred. Will consider trades for a bass amp head of more or less equal value (could use a decent backup rig).
