Am I crazy, or just weird?

I'm seriously considering trading/selling my G&L L2K ('91 signature model) and LB100 for an EUB. I've been jonesin' for a NS 4 string, mainly because it has the 41" scale. I think it would fit into my band and our style most excellently. I do have a URB, but am hesitant to put into a bar situation, if you know what I mean.
Any thoughts (or offers ;) ) are appreciated.

If you can pull off a trade, go for it. I've owned several G&Ls and their one downside is a low resale. So trade and if you ever miss the L2K, look for one used at a great price! ;)

If it were me I wouldnt do it. Especially because you already have a double bass. I just dont like EUBs that much. L2ks on the other hand are sweet. Besides if its a bar gig where you dont feel comfortable with your URB, is the crowd going to be able to appreciate an EUB any more then an electric? For me all my bar gigs are electric. No one would appreciate the double bass so I dont bother.

    Yeah- I wouldn't mind a fretless (unlined) L2K or L2.5K.

Neither crazy nor weird, but get ready to receive horrible offers for your G&Ls. As great of basses as they are, they just don't sell very well.
