I have a Cort EVL-Z6B. The only thing on the internet about this bass is a wiring schematic PDF on the Cort website and a review on Ultimate-Guitar. There's also a Cort EVL-Z4 for sale at a music shop nearby which looks the same, but with different fretboard markers, and probably a few other differences.

The Cort website has nothing on the Z6B except the wiring diagram. And then I noticed that the EVL series was under "electric guitars" on the Cort website, though the wiring diagram IS correct for my bass. There's no other trace of it. Even weirder is that the Z4 is on the Cort website, but as a Les Paul-shaped guitar, rather than the VIP shape that the Z4 in the shop does. But these aren't knockoffs because the serial numbers and wiring schematics match up.

Someone at Cort's website management needs to be fired, because I am so confused.

I personally don't think they're too bad. They're probably regarded as such because they saturated the market, but there's a few gems, like the C5H.
