Am I on to something here?

Modulus BaSSStar neck on a 2000 MIA P.

I think it looks great, what with the black neck blending into the black of the sunburst.

It's a neck-through, so I'm hoping the sustain will be noticeable.

The problem is this: the neck is just a tad narrow in the pocket. It can be shimmed, I suppose; I'm left with a P neck that won't fit my Modulus body (a tad too wide); it's a P as opposed to the P/J config of the Modulus; I'm sacrificing (in a way) a decent, MIA P for a frankenbass; I'd have to have a good luthier set it up (moolah).

Oh, well, just the latest in the saga, and I thought I'd share.
