I mean, the dude is like 72 and I don't like anything even remotely rap
Congratulations. Tom Jones is a verrry bad man. He's the only hold over from the lounge-ish guys who is still at the top of his game. I'm a fan.
Bass player is killin it....like for real
Wow, that was great
TJ still has it. One of the greatest entertainers ever.
Great band too.
Not a big fan, but, the guy can bring it, for sure. After seeing that I wish he was coming to the US this year, but no.
YOW!!! That was slick as it gets! TJ was great and I love how a band that big can sound as one. Thanks for sharing.
His band sure makes it look easy.
And he has only 4 strings!!!!
That's a relief. I was afraid I just passed the AARP entrance exam or something.
Totally smokin' good!!
I have been completely blown away by Tom Jones since I first heard him in the 60's. He has more power in his voice and delivery than the next five guys put together. A complete pro and one of the most durable entertainers alive.
He brings it...and he does so every time he steps on stage.
Mr. Jones has ALWAYS, ALWAYS been cool as hell!!! So, to answer yer question? HELL YES!!!
Thanks for sharin'!!
Nope, that was indeed smokin' good.
True but isn't he using an octaver on some parts of this? My four bangers don't go that low!
Plus whoever recorded and mixed this concert sure knew what they were doing.
I'm off to Amazon to buy this concert now!
If you haven't heard it, check out the new CD Praise and Blame, one of his best in years.
I must confess that after I listened to the provided clip, that I listened to the Tom Jones live acoustic performance of "The Green, Green Grass Of Home." done in 2009. Man, I still think that is such a great song. Something about the way he sings it gets to me.
Old school at its finest. Great artist with a super tight band. Don't get much better than this.
I've always liked Tom Jones.
Tom Jones has always been exceptional, and has ALWAYS had a killer back-up band (orchestra). I used to watch his TV show in the late 60's, and those cats were bad-ass ! I can vividly remember them doing "Shake" and tearing the house down. I would love to see him live !
Tom Jones IS smokin AWSOME
