Yeah does anyone else? I always do during that riff he plays in the intro and what not.
Cool kids do it...
You're talking about Stanley Clarke's School Days, right? I dont headbang to it, but I absolutely LOVE it and go into delirium whenever I hear it.
Ya' think that's wacky?..."Sing Sing Sing" came on the radio
and my poor dogs thought I was havin' a seizure .
Can't escape your roots, I guess .
can some one post an mp3 of it? i need to hear the chords
I spin around in circles
It's a series of I-V (1-5) doublestops, actually pretty easy to play.
Nope. Almost, but not quite.
Lamentably, I find I can no longer headbang to any music of any sort being as I seem to have developed arthritis in my neck. Added to that I have a balance problem. If I attempt headbanging, not only does my neck hurt, I get dizzy. My hair is no longer the length it was either, so headbanging doesn't look as cool when I do it.
Oh well, a 58-year old headbanger looks kind of weird anyway. I do remember with fondness headbanging to Iron Maiden, Testament and Sepultura. Those were the good old days.
NotDuane, are you referring to "Sing, Sing, Sing" the Gene Krupa song? That is a great song for headbanging...in fact, maybe it was the true FIRST true headbanging song...generations ahead of its time. I love Krupa.
I headbang to "Sing" by The Carpenters...
Yes'm! That's the one...plus "In The Mood", "Jump Jive`n Wail"...
