Am I wrong here? (Drummer situation)

    Patience is a great virtue. If there was allot riding on your situation, it may have called for something stronger, but you working hard to work it out was probably better.

    so good time is in the guy somewhere, that's good news.

    now the next thing you guys need to do is boot any and all "hang out"-ers. extra people do not belong at rehearsals unless you're all just "jamming" for fun, in which case it's not an actual practice.
     
  3. my last drummer had this problem for a little while. he got used to crowds and he settled down a bit. we didnt have to say a word to him. he saw the video, but no comments were made about his over-playing. maybe time will fix the issue.
