Amazing Grace Transcription

Discussion in 'Tablature and Notation [BG]' started by Groovin_Joe, Aug 15, 2003.

  1. Hey all...

I have just got the Victor Wooten Live at Bass Day 98 DVD and I can't believe some of the things that he does... :) I am looking for a transcription of His Version of Amazing Grace. I know that there might be tabs but i am looking for the note versions. Tabs can be wrong and it is easier with notes.

Thanks to anyone that can help.

I haven't got a version of that, but check out:

for transcriptions of some of the other pieces from the publishers. If you work through some of those, it might help you pick up more from listening back to Amazing Grace - even though Victor has an amazing bag of tricks, he still uses the same ideas again and again in different contexts (and there's nothing wrong in that).

ps. if you don't want tabs at all, it's not worth posting the request in the tabs forum - that's like going into a forum for bald people and asking for advice on haircuts ;)
