I got the Levy's M4GF garment leather foam-padded suede-backed 3 1/2" bass strap bass strap. Problem is, I totally underestimated how big 3 1/2" is. Being the So, I was thinking of returning it to get the guitar equivalent, the M26GF strap, which is the same only 2 1/2".

You can return it minus the shipping, then purchase the one you want.

Keep it, unless you really don't like the bass strap 'look'.

I believe that's only if its for an exchange due to a defect. They've always deducted the shipping if I had a change of mind.

I remember when I wanted to return a Christmas present last year I chose the "it wasn't as described" option and they said "our bad, hang on to it and we'll refund your money, k luv?"

Of course I'm on Prime so that might have been a part of it.

Same circumstances, they covered return shipping.

I forgot to mention the important detail that, like an idiot, I cut the tags and that little white fabric square one.

I think it depends on the item's price; IIRC if it's under $25 or $30 they'll let you just keep the item if you haven't returned anything in the last 12 months.

The only problem we've had was when some "xbox points" purchased on line by my grandson was double billed. I called them, they saw the billings had the exact time stamp, and they instantly credited the account.

  15. amazon is really good with returns. was it sold by amazon, or a 3rd party? I've returned things to amazon with nothing more than a change of heart and they covered the return shipping. If it is a 3rd party seller, it depends on the seller

Keep it. If anyone talks to you about it, let it be your story that you wanted a 3 1/2" wide strap but you didn't expect 3 1/2" to be that wide. Unfathomable. 4" strap... now that's crazy wide.

Amazon requires people that sell through them to take care of customers.

  18. As I was reading this, I was starting to wonder if it had anything
to do with a bass guitar. Luckily, it did.

Amazon is really good about returns.
