    Hey
I know they make mexican deluxe jazz basses, but do they have deluxe jazzes made in the USA??
Also, do all the deluxe jazz basses have active electronics? Or do just some of them?
    Thanks
    Jared

I kind of wish that I had waited another year to buy mine. I've got the 9 volt system but I'm not sure how much of a difference there would be between the two.

I have but I haven't seen any of the 18 volts yet. The stores in my area still have the 9s. ;)

I have an 18-volt Am Jazz FMT. All my other basses have 9-volt electronics. I can't tell any difference in the output characteristics, other than my 9-volt Lakland has a much hotter output than the 18-volt Fender.

Do the 18 volt basses use both 9 volts as quick as a 9 volt bass? Or do the 18 volts last longer? Just wonderin.

According to EMG they last the same.

If I remember correctly the two bateries are wired in series, but in order to last twice as long they should be wired in paralell which would give you only 9 volts.

    Peace
