I just received this as part of a trade. A very nice American Fender maple neck w/ maple fretboard. This is from the "American Special" series and can be dated at about 1999. Despite being a Precision neck, it is 1.5" at the nut - not my personal preference, but the choice of many bass players. The neck has a few worn spots in the maple that I've tried to picture. They are not terrible and, in my opinion, add character and a nice broken-in feel. The tuners appear to be non-original as you can see the original holes peeping out from underneath. Again, not terribly noticeable. I will include the Fender neckplate/bolts, of course. A solid, fast, nicely broken-in maple neck for your project. $265 shipped or best reasonable offer. I will entertain cash offers in the interest of a fast sale. No trades. Lower 48 USA highly preferred.

I also have this loaded koa body that came with the neck for sale separately.

  3. This is a great playing, super comfortable neck. You can set it up with very low action with no buzz. It feels like neck on some of my very expensive basses. GLWTS!
