Story Here at CNN
That is the greatest thing I've ever seen.
They're really trying, aren't they...
"Liam Cusack, the marketing coordinator for Dragon Models USA, said the figure pictured on the Web site is believed to be "Special Ops Cody," a military action figure the company manufactured in late 2003.
"It pretty much looks exactly like the same person," he said."
"the same person" lolz.
I don't know what to say about this. I'm just happy it's not a real soldier.
Am I suddenly living in a slapstick movie about terrorists? Are the Zucker Brothers involved with this?
The toy gun pointing at the toy soldier. Yay.
Of course his captor is Raggedy An-war.
Demanding the release of the Afghani radical My Buddah.
Someone please photoshop them...
I wondered where i left my Special Ops Cody doll...
actually that's a joke. i think this is pretty sick attempt to make americans pissed off. :scowl:
I don't think it's working like they intended Gus.
"NO!! Gamah. If we use the super top secret mini solider the americans will do as we say. Quick we must kidnap Barbie!!!"
Well, at least it tried to get the message across without any bloodshed.
But it's real funny!
yeah and i just woke up too...
I certainly hope that this is a sign of how desparate they are.
All I can come up with is "What are they thinking????"
I mean, that CNN article reads and looks like it should have come from the Onion.
That IS GREAT!
No, moron! You can't just start a slow clap for no reason. You'll know when the time is right.
Not only that, but the picture makes it obvious that it's a little plastic guy. I guess Iraqis might not be familiar w/ action figures, but the whole picture is unbelievable. Look at the thing in the background (banner?) it's obviously way too thick. Looks like the air freshener in my car w/ some stuff glued to it more than a banner or flag or anything like that. The gun is obviously plastic too, all though I'm not sure why.....
Pretty funny stuff.
The bright pink lips are a nice touch. So I guess the Iraqis put make-up on our soldiers to embarass them?
